#connectED challenge
Challenge 27: Host a TeachMeet.
What if you can't find a TeachMeet in your local area? Well, you can always setup your own. Here are some useful resources to help you get started:
- Ross Morrison McGill aka @TeacherToolkit's has published a useful guide to TeachMeets is a good starting point: http://www.teachertoolkit.me/2016/04/09/organising-teachmeets/ Ross’s guide also includes a 5-minute TeachMeet planning template to help you get started.
- @TeacherToolkit has also published a handy checklist on TES which you can download for free here: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/-teachmeet-planning-guide-by-teachertoolkit-6313229
- Also check out Mark Anderson’s (@ictevangelist) blog on the essential ingredients of a TeachMeet: http://ictevangelist.com/what-is-a-teachmeet-any-more/
