No one can deny the power of Social Media for making connections, likewise, it is impossible to ignore the potential benefits of using social tools such as Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest to connect with like minded professionals and to share best practice / resources. In education, the terms ‘Connected Educator/Teacher’ and PLN (Personal Learning Network) are becoming more and more popular however, what does it actually mean to be a connected educator and how does a teacher become ‘connected’? These are just some of the questions I will be asking in the next #BETTChat session.
